Ingredients 

  • 1 kg of ground beef (lean) 
  • 2 tablespoons of canola oil 
  • 1 chopped bell pepper (green) 
  • 3 ajicitos (chopped) 
  • 3 minced cloves of garlic 
  • ¼ cup of dry sherry 
  • 1 chopped white onion (medium) 
  • 2 tablespoons of raisins 
  • 1 cup of tomatoes, peeled and roughly chopped 
  • 1 teaspoon Oregon (dried) 
  • 1 bay leaf (whole) 
  • 3 cilantro leaves (finely chopped) 
  • 1 teaspoon salt 
  • ¼ cup red peppers (roasted and chopped)

  • 2 tablespoons of capers 
  • ¼ cup of sliced green olives
