Localities :
An exceptional site :To the northeast of Guebwiller, immediately adjacent to the Kitterlé, but separated geologically by a border fracture, the Saering faces southeast to east, at an altitude of from 260 to 300 metres. Favoured varietals :The very nature of the soil makes Riesling a priority in this vineyard of 26,75 ha. Muscat, Gewurztraminer and Tokay Pinot Gris of very high quality can also be found. Within living memory...The Saering was mentioned for the first time in 1250. The wines from this vineyard have been sold under their own name since 1830. Typical characteristics :Saering Riesling displays a typical floral bouquet with, on the palate, the pronounced fruitiness of the variety, sustained by a dry and distinguished character.
